“The World Through My Eyes” 2021 art competition was incredible this year. We at the Dysautonomia Center, FD families, and our extended medical and research community were blown away by the talent shown by all contestants.
We want to extend our heartfelt thanks again to our panel of judges, Manny Vega, Rosario Güiraldes, Adriana Rosenberg, Rafael Bueno, and Solana Chehtman. Your time and attention to these artists is invaluable. And to Rick Guidotti for partnering with us this year, who plans to host a live viewing with a dedicated opening night gallery exhibition on Museum Mile in New York City at Positive Exposure 109 later this year.
Congratulations to the top 3 winners in the categories of Drawing, Painting, and Video!
Ivan Zelione, our youngest contestant at age 13, in the category of drawing for
“House Fish”
Peter Sonenshein, in the category of painting for
“Queens Gambit”
Sam Landau, in the category of video for
“Escape to Reality”
